News about Baja California and its supposed perilous environment have been circulating around the Internet for quite a while now. Sure, some people might have had some not-so-nice experiences around here--but to say that it is generally perilous in Baja California?The expats around here definitely does not think so. Kidnapping in Mexico is now becoming a nuisance like the peso devaluation in the mid-1990's. It seems that kidnapping don't tend to involve civilians but still make up the headlines so investors and Mexico's is greatly affected Because of these social security threats, investors in Mexico pulled out and looked for safer climates cause they don't want to put millions in a country that can't even protect it's people.
