Ancient civilizations have always bedazzled the scientific and architectural community on how they were able to create such near-perfect structures and technologies which look too advance for their time. One of these ancient civilization is the Mayan Civilization in Mexico.

Trip to El Estado Grande

Aside from being a popular dog name, Chihuahua, is a northern Mexican State with a area of 244,938 square meters which also the largest state in Mexico and nicknamed as "El Estado Grande" (The Big State).

Barranca del Cobre (Copper Canyon), a canyon system much more larger that the Grand Canyon, is one of the boasting of the state.

Journalists targeted in drug-related violence

Initiating war with drugs is no easy task. This is like your ordinary war. It costs lives in order to win. In Mexico, the toll is already at around 3000 deaths.

In fact, a new trend is emerging in these killing sprees. This time, journalists of all sorts are being targetted. Quite a number of journalists who are being pressured by Mexican drug lords have already been killed. When will it stop?

Worst than Global Warming

In Mexico, tourism is at its height so as to pollution. Near the resort of Cancun, part of the reef have died as algae continues to propagate which feeds on sewage residues from hotels nearby. These reefs are dying as cities and people put more pressure on its environment.

According to Roberto Iglesias, biologist from Unam University's Marine Sciences Station in Cancun, That the net effect of pollution in worst than global warming.

The United Nation World Tourism Organization declared climate change is a priority issue showing consciousness and that tourism is a sector that affects a wide range of activities will be the key to tackle the issue.
