Woman Arrested for Kidnapping her Son 10 Years Ago

Tamara Kennedy, a U.S. citizen was arrested for kidnapping her son, Joseph Alexander Kennedy 10 years ago when they disappeared before the custody of the boy was to be given to the boy's father in 1998.

The woman was caught while trying to renew her passport and her son at the Guadalajara U.S. Consulate in Mexico. Kennedy says that she didn't know that any charges was made after they left.

The child will be placed in foster care until the the custody hearing will finalized.

Beauty queen caught in weapons raid

She is beautiful, smart, and allegedly part of a criminal syndicate. Ms. Hispanoamerican Queen 2008 Laura Zuniga was put into police custody, along with seven other men, after being caught in vehicles containing cash and weapons in Central Mexico.

Ms. Zuniga will be representing Mexicon in the upcoming Ms. International beauty competition next year.

Anti-kidnapping consultant kidnapped in Mexico

Kidnapping is one the rise in Mexico. The latest victim is actually an anti-kidnapping consultant based in the United States.

The consultant was abducted last December 10 outside a restaurant in Saltillo, the capital of Mexico's Coahuila state. The former military officer is said to be in Mexico on "personal business."

The FBI has already entered the situation and is investigating it along with Mexican authorities.

Mexican cartel finds its way to Guatemala

Even crime is already experiencing the effects of globalization. That can be said in the Guatemalan drug cartel, which seems to be already infiltrated by the Mexican drug trade, police investigators have said.

The two cartels have already made alliances and this is obviosu from documents found in raids in both countries.
