There is a special liaison officer who is to serve as the contact person that is to assist foreign residents, who is to be pledged by the incoming Mayor, Jesus Cabrera. This would be so done, in the ease of doing business with the new Chapala municipal government.

From a two-day workshop, tehre had been a pause that was taken in order to put the city hall’s next top-echelon crew in the right gear for their duties to ensue.

This had been said by Cabrera, and so, to a Guadalajara Reporter. It is understood that he is very much aware of the importance of foreigners in sustaining the local economy.
